The coat rack represents the collective device which serves to store things until they are ready to cover the person taking the item from the rack. The glass heads, collaged and painted, represent the masking of identity that often acts as a facade....the adorning of identity to fit the environment. The straight jacket speaks to the restriction, containment, and confinement we often experience via the adoption of these masked identities. And the wash tub symbolizes the public sanitization which the identities are presented, clean and ready for view.
